I have been litigating civil and commercial cases in state and federal trial and appellate courts and before administrative agencies and panels for over thirty years. My practice has covered a broad range of subject areas, including business and contract disputes of all kinds, franchise litigation for both franchisors and franchisees, probate, guardianship, estate and trust litigation, chancery actions, including those seeking temporary restraining orders and preliminary and permanent injunctions, partnership disputes, corporate governance and disputes involving LLC’s, professional disciplinary matters and professional malpractice, real estate litigation, including construction disputes and landlord and tenant matters, common law fraud and consumer fraud actions, creditors’ rights and bankruptcy, intellectual property, including copyright, trademark and unfair competition.

Experience: Prior to beginning his own practice in 2002, Mr. Blumenthal was a partner in the law firm of Foran and Schultz, a boutique litigation law firm with a national practice, headquartered in Chicago where he practiced for nearly twenty years.
